We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Laundry Worker to join our support team in Grasvlei, Northern Cape. Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items by fabric type, colour, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers according to specified cycles and procedures.
- Load and unload laundry, ensuring correct chemical usage and water temperatures.
- Iron, press, and fold a variety of linens, towels, and uniforms to hotel standards.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and wear, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to management.
- Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment, such as cleaning lint filters.
