Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and maintaining complex database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a strong understanding of database design, implementation, and optimization, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of database management, from design and implementation to maintenance and troubleshooting. You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and developers to support critical business applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of database systems.

- Develop and implement database backup and recovery procedures.
- Perform database administration tasks, including user management, security, and access control.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to support critical business applications.
- Stay current with the latest database technologies and trends.
- Document database architecture and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficient in SQL and at least one major database platform (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with database design, implementation, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of database security concepts.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- ITIL Foundation Certification
