Job Description

Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and thrive in a structured, fast-paced manufacturing environment? NTK Landbou is looking for dedicated and energetic Assembly Line Workers to join our dynamic team in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. As an Assembly Line Worker, you will be an integral part of our production process, directly contributing to the quality and efficiency of our diverse product output, which ranges from carefully processed animal feeds to precisely packaged agricultural commodities. This role is crucial for ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the stringent quality standards NTK is known for, upholding our commitment to our farming communities and consumers.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of essential tasks along the assembly line, including but not limited to, operating various automated and semi-automated machinery, assembling components, inspecting products for defects, monitoring the consistency of output, and ensuring that daily production targets are met efficiently and safely. A key aspect of this role involves meticulous quality control checks at various stages, identifying and rectifying any issues promptly to prevent product waste and maintain high standards. This is a hands-on position requiring good manual dexterity, excellent visual acuity, unwavering attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team structure. You will be expected to adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and hygiene guidelines, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times. The work environment can be repetitive and demanding, requiring physical stamina, the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 20kg), and perform precise, repetitive motions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment on the assembly line.
