African Perfection is seeking a dynamic Resort Activities Assistant to join our vibrant team in Jeffreys Bay! In this exciting role, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a diverse range of engaging activities that cater to all ages and interests. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of daily resort activities for guests of all ages, including but not limited to, surf lessons, beach games, nature walks, cultural experiences, and evening entertainment.
- Engage actively with guests, fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and ensuring their enjoyment and participation in activities.
- Promote resort amenities, local attractions, and activity schedules to maximize guest awareness and engagement.
- Maintain all activity equipment in excellent condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for use.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures during activities to ensure the well-being of guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide accurate information, and assist with bookings for activities and local excursions.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and coordinate activity logistics.
- Collect guest feedback and assist in evaluating the success of activities to continuously improve offerings.
- Assist with setting up and packing down activity areas, ensuring a professional and tidy presentation.
- Be a proactive and positive team member, contributing to a harmonious and efficient working environment.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, outgoing personality.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.

- Previous experience (1+ years) in a resort, hospitality, or tourism-related activities role.
- Knowledge of local Jeffreys Bay attractions, culture, and outdoor activities (e.g., surfing, hiking).
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in specific sports, recreation, or entertainment.
- Valid South African driver's license.
