Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all arriving and departing guests with a professional and friendly demeanor, providing a welcoming first and last impression.
- Safely and efficiently park guest vehicles in designated parking areas, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and resort guidelines.
- Promptly retrieve guest vehicles upon request, ensuring a quick and smooth departure process while verifying vehicle ownership.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and other belongings from their vehicles, offering courteous assistance.
- Provide accurate and helpful information and directions regarding resort amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe valet parking area and front drive, consistently monitoring for cleanliness and potential hazards.
- Handle vehicle keys securely and responsibly, ensuring proper tracking and accountability through established procedures.
- Report any observed vehicle damage, security concerns, or suspicious activity to management immediately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to all resort safety protocols and driving regulations, prioritizing the safety of guests, their vehicles, and oneself at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other resort departments, including Bell Services and Front Desk, to ensure a cohesive and outstanding guest experience.
- Process valet tickets and potentially handle basic payment transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including automatic transmissions, with confidence and skill.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, run, and lift luggage (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods, in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valet attendant in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-volume hospitality setting.
