Lusardi Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Finish Carpenter to join our project team in Otay Ranch, Chula Vista. Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install various finish materials including wood, plastics, and laminates with precision.
- Install doors, windows, door frames, and associated hardware with exacting precision.
- Construct and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and built-in units according to specifications.
- Apply trim work such as baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and wainscoting.
- Perform intricate installations of architectural millwork and decorative elements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Work with a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and project team members to maintain project schedules and quality.
- Inspect and repair existing structures and fixtures, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a Finish Carpenter.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Expertise in using hand and power tools specific to finish carpentry.
- Demonstrated ability to measure, cut, and fit materials with high accuracy.
- Strong understanding of various wood types, fasteners, and adhesives.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
