Job Description
The Belmont Athletic Club is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parking Lot Attendant to join our dedicated team in Belmont Shore, Long Beach. This isn’t just about parking cars; it’s about being the first and last impression for our valued members and guests. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, safe, and positive arrival and departure experience at our busy facility. You will be responsible for managing parking flow, providing clear directions, assisting members with various needs, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our parking areas. Key Responsibilities
- Greet all members and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon arrival and departure.
- Efficiently direct vehicle traffic and pedestrian flow within the parking lot, ensuring optimal space utilization and minimal congestion.
- Monitor parking areas for security, safety hazards, and unauthorized vehicles, reporting any issues or suspicious activities promptly to management.
- Provide assistance to members with disabilities or those requiring special accommodations, such as loading/unloading equipment or navigating the lot.
- Maintain a clean and orderly parking environment, including regular litter removal and reporting any maintenance needs (e.g., potholes, spills) to facility staff.
- Answer basic questions about the club's facilities, services, and membership, and direct more complex inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Assist with special event parking management as needed, including setting up temporary signage or directing guests to overflow areas.
- Uphold all club policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and high-quality member experience while adhering to safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations or vehicle-related incidents calmly and professionally, following established protocols and notifying supervisors.
