Job Description
Swedish Medical Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with specific patient populations (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics)
- Certification in a specialized area of nursing (e.g., oncology, critical care)
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish preferred)
