As a Rental Car Agent, you will be the face of Enterprise, providing friendly and efficient service to our diverse customer base. This role involves assisting customers with vehicle rentals, explaining rental terms and conditions, processing paperwork, and ensuring a seamless rental experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure.
- Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently, explaining terms, conditions, and optional services.
- Inspect vehicles for damage prior to and upon return, documenting findings meticulously.
- Assist customers with vehicle selection, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions with a positive attitude.
- Process payments and manage cash handling, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental counter and surrounding work area.
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding vehicle availability and customer needs.
- Promote additional services such as GPS, child safety seats, and fuel options.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a retail or service environment
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Previous sales experience
- Ability to speak Spanish or other second languages
- Familiarity with car rental operations
