Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow a book of high-net-worth and aspiring high-net-worth clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships built on trust.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analyses, risk assessments, and goal-setting sessions with clients to understand their unique situations.
- Construct, implement, and monitor personalized investment portfolios aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Create comprehensive financial plans covering retirement, education, estate planning, and insurance needs.
- Provide ongoing portfolio performance reviews, rebalancing, and make tactical adjustments as necessary based on market conditions and client life changes.
- Stay current with market trends, economic indicators, regulatory changes, and new investment products that impact client portfolios.
- Educate clients on various investment products, financial strategies, and market dynamics in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including networking events and community engagement, to attract and acquire new clients.
- Ensure all client activities and recommendations adhere strictly to industry regulations and company compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., tax, estate planning) and external partners to offer holistic financial solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 65 and Series 63) licenses are required and active.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as an Investment Advisor, Financial Planner, or similar client-facing role in financial services.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and a history of client retention.
- Strong understanding of investment products (equities, fixed income, alternatives), financial markets, and economic principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to simplify complex topics.
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and as part of a collaborative team.
- Unwavering commitment to ethical practices, fiduciary responsibility, and a client-first mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is highly preferred or in progress.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MS Finance).
- Additional industry designations (e.g., CFA, ChFC, RICP).
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex financial situations.
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Polish) to serve our diverse community.
