Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, provide exceptional service, and assist them with their fuel and convenience store needs.
- Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle various forms of payment, including cash, credit, and debit cards, and ensure correct change is provided.
- Operate fuel pumps, assist customers with fueling if needed, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols for fuel dispensing.
- Monitor fuel levels, verify pump functionality, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or issues to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment both inside the store and at the fuel islands, including regular trash removal and spill cleanup.
- Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, ensure products are properly priced, and maintain appealing product displays.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring inventory is accurately processed and stored.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve minor complaints gracefully, and escalate complex issues or difficult situations to the store manager.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing countertops, and cleaning restrooms.
- Verify customer age for restricted products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery tickets) in strict accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in preparing and serving food or beverage items, if applicable to the store’s offerings, ensuring hygiene standards are met.

- Basic mathematical proficiency for handling transactions and calculating change accurately.
