Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose plumbing problems accurately and efficiently, offering appropriate solutions to clients.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including drain cleaning, leak detection, and water heater servicing.
- Install and repair water heaters, garbage disposals, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to determine layout for plumbing systems.
- Adhere strictly to all local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining work performed and answering client questions clearly and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests as required.
- Keep company vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Valid Kentucky Journeyman Plumber License
- Minimum of 3 years (36 months) of verifiable plumbing experience
- Proficient in all aspects of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces
Preferred Qualifications
- Master Plumber License (or working towards one)
- Experience with advanced plumbing technologies (e.g., trenchless pipe repair, smart home systems)
- OSHA safety certification
