Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend asset lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, implementing effective and timely repairs.
- Execute corrective maintenance actions, minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment is returned to operational status efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand equipment functionality and guide repair procedures.
- Assist in the installation, startup, and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards and recommend solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand operational needs and provide technical support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting and motor controls
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
