Key Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control, flight attendants, and ground crew.
- Comply with all safety procedures and protocols.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete all required training and recurrent training programs.
Required Skills
- ATP Certificate
- Type Rating on applicable aircraft
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in flight planning and navigation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Thorough understanding of FAA regulations
- Exceptional safety record
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a commercial pilot
- Experience flying regional jets
- Strong knowledge of meteorological conditions and their impact on flight operations
- Experience with flight simulators
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field
