Key Responsibilities
- Execute the precise setup and breakdown of event spaces, including stages, seating arrangements, tables, chairs, and other equipment as per event layouts and instructions.
- Safely load and unload equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Transport equipment and materials across the venue efficiently and safely.
- Assist with the installation and removal of stage elements, backdrops, and other production equipment.
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the venue is pristine before, during, and after events.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with event managers, production staff, and other crew members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Be responsive to on-the-spot changes and adapt quickly to evolving event needs.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and, occasionally, with patrons.
Required Skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
