Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Catering Manager to lead our growing catering operations in Zachary, Louisiana. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of catering sales, including lead generation, client communication, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Plan and execute a wide range of catering events, from corporate luncheons and family gatherings to large-scale community functions.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure menu accuracy, food quality, and presentation meet Walk-On's standards.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training of catering personnel, fostering a high-performance and guest-focused team.
- Manage catering budgets, inventory, and cost controls to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote catering services and expand market share.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek out new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations related to food service and event operations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to align catering operations with overall restaurant goals.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in catering sales, event management, or a related hospitality role.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve sales targets.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team supervision and development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for off-site events.
