Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, and reliable Shopkeeper to join our vibrant team at Super Secrets Supermarket in Damaturu. The ideal candidate will be the face of our store, responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive shopping environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
- Manage and organize inventory, including receiving, stocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and conducting basic stock counts.
- Ensure the store premises are clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times, including shelves, aisles, and checkout areas.
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in arranging product displays and promotional materials to enhance sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor security within the store, reporting any suspicious activities or potential theft to management.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to the store manager when necessary.
- Open and close the store securely, following established procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a cohesive work environment.
