Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlights, perms, and treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through exceptional service and a positive attitude.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous education.
- Recommend and sell professional hair care products to clients for at-home maintenance.
- Adhere to all salon safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage appointments, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and contribute to overall salon cleanliness.
- Build and maintain a strong, loyal client base.
- Actively participate in salon promotions and team meetings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, demonstrating a broad range of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Valid provincial cosmetology license (Saskatchewan).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and artistic flair with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of professional hair care products and their application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established clientele book.
- Experience with a variety of hair textures and types.
- Additional certifications in advanced coloring techniques or extensions.
