Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of UK expatriate clients.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning advice, including investment strategies, pension planning, and estate planning, specifically for UK expatriates in Spain.
- Conduct in-depth financial reviews, analyze client portfolios, and recommend suitable financial products and services.
- Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and market trends relevant to cross-border wealth management.
- Prepare and present detailed financial plans and bespoke proposals to clients in an understandable manner.
- Collaborate effectively with internal tax and legal specialists to deliver integrated and holistic client solutions.
- Actively participate in business development activities to expand the client base and enhance the firm's presence in the region.
- Ensure all advice and services comply with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Spanish financial regulations).
- Proactively engage with clients through regular communication and reviews to ensure their financial plans remain aligned with their evolving needs and market conditions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Financial Advisor or Wealth Manager, ideally within an international or expatriate context.
- Relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of investment products, pension schemes (including QROPS/SIPP), and estate planning principles.
