Key Responsibilities
- Design and create custom jewelry pieces from conception to completion.
- Perform complex jewelry repairs, restorations, and modifications on a variety of metals and gemstones.
- Execute precise stone setting, including pavé, bezel, prong, and channel settings.
- Operate and maintain a range of goldsmithing tools and equipment (e.g., torches, laser welders, polishing machines).
- Conduct thorough quality control checks at every stage of the manufacturing and repair process.
- Manage precious metal stock, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand design requirements and provide expert advice.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
- Stay updated with new jewelry techniques, materials, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Jeweler/Goldsmith.
- Expertise in soldering, filing, polishing, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Proficient in various stone setting methods.
- Strong understanding of different precious metals and gemstones.
