We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated team at Nyahururu Elite Schools. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the Kenyan national curriculum (CBC).
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to address individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and behavioral observations, ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student welfare and academic achievement.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide events.
- Integrate technology effectively into daily teaching practices to enhance learning experiences.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment that promotes self-esteem and character development.
- Develop and implement co-curricular activities that enrich student experience and holistic growth.
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
- TSC (Teachers Service Commission) registration certificate.
- Proven experience as a Primary School Teacher, preferably with CBC experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching aids and educational technology.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate diploma or Master's degree in Education.
- Experience in an international school setting or with diverse curricula.
- Proficiency in an additional language beyond English and Kiswahili.
