Hayer One Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our dynamic team on our project site in El Wak, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be instrumental in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of various structural components, heavy machinery, and equipment critical to our construction operations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding processes including ARC, MIG, and TIG welding on different types of metals (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding techniques and specifications.
- Cut, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and defects, ensuring quality and structural integrity.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, national welding standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Fabricate and install structural components as required for construction projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues on-site.
