Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Headless WordPress Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining high-performing, scalable, and secure headless WordPress websites. You will be responsible for developing and implementing front-end and back-end solutions, integrating with various APIs, and ensuring seamless user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, REST APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional results for our clients. This is a remote position offering significant flexibility and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure headless WordPress websites.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between WordPress and other platforms.
- Develop custom themes and plugins using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress applications.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to headless WordPress implementations.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in headless WordPress development.
Required Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of WordPress architecture and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with headless CMS integrations.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
