Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and common areas, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces, to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Change bed linens and towels daily or as per guest request and hotel policy.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, mini-bar items, and promotional materials.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean windows/mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and trolleys.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a hospitality environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform duties requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate in Hospitality or Housekeeping operations.
