Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gutenberg Block Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Gutenberg blocks for WordPress websites. You will collaborate with designers and other developers to create user-friendly and visually appealing blocks that enhance the website experience. Your work will directly impact the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ online presence. This is a fully remote position, offering significant flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing team. You will work closely with project managers to understand client requirements, translating those needs into well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code. A strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including the Gutenberg editor, is essential. Experience working with REST APIs and proficiency in JavaScript are crucial aspects of this role. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role demands a proactive individual who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom Gutenberg blocks using React and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure consistent design and functionality.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve issues.
- Work with project managers to understand client requirements and translate them into functional blocks.
