Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Execute precise repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, and electrical systems.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle problems.
- Adhere strictly to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines during all repair and maintenance tasks.
- Document all services performed, parts used, and hours worked accurately and legibly.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status, repair needs, and estimated completion times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely service delivery.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician (minimum 2 years).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
