Job Description
Stefanutti Stocks is seeking an innovative and highly skilled Remote Carpentry Design & Fabrication Specialist to join our dynamic team. This unique and pioneering role is based remotely, with the successful candidate operating from Jagersfontein, Free State. We are moving beyond traditional on-site carpentry, focusing on the critical pre-construction phases and remote oversight of intricate woodworking projects.
As our Remote Carpentry Design & Fabrication Specialist, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and planning bespoke carpentry solutions for our diverse portfolio of projects. Your expertise will bridge the gap between architectural vision and tangible construction, utilizing cutting-edge design software and project management tools to ensure precision and quality from a remote setting. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and on-site teams through virtual platforms, providing expert guidance on material selection, joinery techniques, and fabrication processes for off-site manufacturing. This role is ideal for a seasoned carpenter with exceptional design acumen, a deep understanding of modern fabrication technologies, and a proven ability to manage complex projects remotely.
We are looking for someone who can translate detailed drawings into actionable plans, optimize workflows for remote production, and ensure that all carpentry components meet our rigorous standards before they even arrive at the construction site. This is a rare opportunity to redefine the carpentry profession within a progressive construction environment, contributing to iconic projects from the comfort and flexibility of a remote setup. Your strategic input on design efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability will be crucial. If you possess an innovative spirit and are ready to leverage your carpentry mastery in a dynamic, digitally-driven role, contributing to national infrastructure from a remote hub, we encourage you to apply.
