BKB Limited is seeking a highly motivated and technologically adept individual to join our team as a Remote Livestock Handler. Key Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor livestock conditions, behavior, and welfare using available digital tools, camera feeds, and sensor data.

- Develop, implement, and continuously refine remote animal welfare protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all handling activities.

- Analyze data related to livestock health, growth, reproductive cycles, and handling efficiency to identify trends and propose improvements.
- Provide remote expert guidance, mentorship, and training to on-site farm staff on humane livestock handling techniques and best management practices.
- Maintain meticulous digital records of livestock inventories, health treatments, movements, and any incidents.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary professionals, agronomists, and other agricultural experts to address complex livestock challenges from a distance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on livestock status, welfare metrics, operational performance, and compliance for senior management.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in livestock management, integrating them into remote strategies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in livestock management, animal husbandry, or a related agricultural field.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of animal welfare principles and humane handling techniques for various livestock types.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effective remote team coordination and clear instruction.
