Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently collect parcels, packages, and documents from designated local collection points (e.g., local depots, Pargo points, or scheduled pickup locations) as per daily assignments.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes in the Murraysburg area, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers' homes and businesses.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery manifests against collected items and delivered goods.
- Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly using digital tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status, potential delays, or issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle parcels with care to prevent damage during transit, adhering to all handling guidelines.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and safe for operations (if using own vehicle or company vehicle).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.

Required Skills
- Valid South African Code B (or higher) Driver's License.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions or endorsements.
- Minimum of 12 months (1 year) professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Murraysburg and surrounding road networks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently without constant supervision.
- Good physical stamina for lifting and carrying parcels (up to 25kg) safely.
