Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive agri-tourism strategy and business plan for Redford Road Farm, aligning with our values and goals.
- Design, market, and manage a diverse portfolio of agri-tourism products and experiences, including guided farm tours, hands-on workshops, seasonal events, and potential farm-stay accommodations.
- Oversee daily operations of the agri-tourism division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a dedicated team of agri-tourism guides, event staff, and volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service.
- Manage budgets, establish competitive pricing strategies, and drive revenue generation for all agri-tourism activities, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Collaborate closely with the farming team to integrate agricultural cycles and activities seamlessly into visitor programming, providing authentic insights.
- Build and maintain strong, synergistic relationships with local tourism boards, tour operators, hotels, educational institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Develop compelling marketing and promotional materials, including engaging digital content, social media campaigns, and print media, to attract a broad range of visitors.

Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in tourism management, hospitality, agricultural management, or a related field with a strong focus on visitor experience.
- Strong business acumen, including demonstrated experience with budget management, financial forecasting, and revenue generation strategies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully implementing new initiatives.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); familiarity with additional local languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Xhosa) is advantageous.
- A deep understanding of sustainable agriculture practices, environmental conservation, and rural development.
- Valid South African driver's license and access to reliable personal transport.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and familiarity with booking systems.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
