Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting for a wide range of plumbing issues via video calls and digital platforms.
- Conduct virtual consultations with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice, and guide them through minor repairs or preventative measures.
- Offer real-time technical support and guidance to field technicians on complex installations, repairs, or unusual plumbing challenges.
- Analyze blueprints, schematics, and photographic/video evidence to develop comprehensive solutions and project plans.
- Document all remote interactions, diagnostic findings, and recommended solutions accurately in our digital management system.
- Assist in the remote training and onboarding of new plumbing technicians, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of remote service protocols and digital tools for enhanced efficiency.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering clear, concise, and professional remote assistance.
- Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies, regulations, and remote diagnostic tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as a certified Plumber.
- Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plumbing schematics accurately.
- Excellent customer service orientation and patience.
- High level of digital literacy and comfort with various software applications.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Valid plumbing certification/license in South Africa.
