Key Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor and analyze critical aquaculture parameters (e.g., water quality, temperature, oxygen levels, feed intake) from various farm sites using integrated sensor systems.
- Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive digital records of farming activities, environmental data, and health observations.
- Conduct remote diagnostics and initial troubleshooting for potential issues, advising on-site teams on corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on farm performance, health status, and environmental conditions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of remote monitoring protocols and data management systems.
- Collaborate closely with on-site farm managers and operational staff to provide technical support and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Research and stay updated on new aquaculture technologies, remote sensing solutions, and industry best practices.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions on operational improvements and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into relevant databases and management software.
- Provide remote training and guidance to on-site staff regarding data collection and new technology implementation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in aquaculture, marine biology, or a related field.
