Job Description
C Spire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our remote team. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with a specific focus on WordPress. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing, responsive websites and applications. You’ll collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver exceptional user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work is essential. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and applications
- Design and implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with designers and content creators
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Optimize website performance for speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress technologies and best practices
- Contribute to the overall improvement of our development processes
Required Skills
- Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
- Experience with various WordPress frameworks (e.g., ACF, Elementor)
- Understanding of responsive web design principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL)
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
