Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate team, focusing on brand development and promotional activities for our diverse range of wines and emerging food products. Although this role is fully remote, you will be an integral part of our Ashton-based brand, deeply understanding its roots and values. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence, engaging with our audience, and supporting our overall marketing strategy. You will be responsible for coordinating various marketing initiatives, from digital campaigns and social media management to content creation and market research. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in the food and wine industry. You will collaborate closely with our sales, production, and senior marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communication across all platforms. Your ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-paced environment will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage and maintain social media platforms, including content planning, creation (text, image, video), scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Draft compelling marketing copy for various uses, including website content, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights relevant to the food and wine sectors.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and content creators to produce high-quality marketing assets.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications, adhering strictly to brand guidelines.
  • Support the organization of virtual and, occasionally, in-person events, tastings, and promotions.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, budgets, and databases.
  • Assist with website updates and SEO optimization efforts.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the food, beverage, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience with social media management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with excellent copywriting and editing abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing software, content management systems).
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics) for creating marketing collateral.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret marketing data and generate actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a food or wine brand, understanding industry-specific nuances.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with basic video editing for social media content.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
