Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cook/Caterer to join our dynamic team in Gamoep, Northern Cape. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals for an industrial or large-scale local community setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire food preparation process, from menu planning and ingredient sourcing to cooking, presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. While the core of your role will involve hands-on culinary work within our Gamoep facility, we embrace a hybrid model where certain administrative tasks, menu planning, inventory management, and coordination across various local project sites may offer flexibility, blending on-site operational excellence with strategic planning. This role requires a dynamic individual comfortable with both the heat of the kitchen and the precision of back-end management, contributing to a diverse and evolving operational environment. You will cater to a diverse palate, ensuring meals are culturally appropriate and meet dietary requirements where specified. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to make a significant impact on the well-being of our clients and their workforce.
