Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and provide appropriate treatment plans for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Provide preventative care, health education, and immunization services.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and emergency interventions as required in a primary care setting.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, utilizing both physical and digital systems.
- Collaborate with nurses, community health workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in community health initiatives and public health outreach programs, including health screenings and awareness campaigns.

Required Skills
- Valid medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- At least 3 years of post-community service/internship clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of medical conditions across various age groups.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.

- Proficiency in medical record-keeping and basic computer skills.
