Job Description

The Renewals Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the retention of our valued clients. You will be responsible for managing the renewal process for existing contracts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and proactively engaging with clients to build strong relationships. This role requires a keen understanding of the insurance or financial services industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to client management. You will work closely with sales teams, account managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless renewals and client satisfaction. This is a highly visible role offering significant opportunities for career growth within a fast-paced, dynamic organization. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in client retention and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of client contract renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Proactively contact clients to discuss upcoming renewals, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and potential risks to contract renewals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to ensure a seamless renewal process.
  • Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients.
  • Track key metrics related to renewal rates and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of renewal processes and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of sales and client retention principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience with contract negotiation.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
