At Capitec, we believe in simplifying banking and empowering our clients to live better lives. This commitment extends to our internal operations, where robust and reliable IT infrastructure is crucial. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our technology systems, providing essential support to our branch network and regional offices, and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds, blending on-site support for critical issues and system maintenance with the flexibility of remote work for routine tasks and problem-solving. You will be instrumental in maintaining a stable and secure IT environment, empowering our teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of technical challenges and opportunities for growth. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for our end-users. This includes troubleshooting network connectivity problems, assisting with application support, setting up and configuring new workstations, and ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure. Beyond reactive support, you will also be involved in proactive maintenance, monitoring system performance, implementing security patches, and contributing to IT asset management. We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also possesses excellent communication skills, a strong client-service orientation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Join Capitec Bank and be part of a forward-thinking organization where your skills will make a tangible difference in the lives of our employees and clients alike. We foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing opportunities for you to grow your expertise and advance your career within the financial technology space.

This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and ensuring that our colleagues have the tools they need to succeed. If you are passionate about technology, thrive in a problem-solving environment, and are eager to contribute to a company that values innovation and efficiency, we encourage you to apply. Experience the impact of your work in a role that blends technical expertise with direct user interaction, contributing to the success of a leading South African financial institution.
