Siyakha Civils (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Remote Senior Bricklaying Project Coordinator to join our expanding team. This unique remote role requires an individual with profound expertise in bricklaying techniques, materials, and project management, who can effectively oversee and coordinate multiple bricklaying projects from a remote location. While the core work is remote, occasional site visits within the Eastern Cape may be required for critical assessments, quality audits, or key team meetings, ensuring a blend of strategic oversight and practical insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Remotely review architectural drawings, specifications, and project blueprints to accurately assess bricklaying requirements and scope.
- Develop detailed material lists, quantities, and cost estimates for various bricklaying projects, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.
- Formulate comprehensive project schedules and timelines for bricklaying phases, integrating them seamlessly with overall construction plans.
- Provide expert technical guidance, instruction, and support to on-site bricklaying teams and subcontractors through virtual meetings, calls, and digital platforms.
- Implement and enforce stringent quality control standards for all bricklaying work, conducting remote checks and reviewing progress reports, photographs, and video submissions.
- Identify, analyze, and proactively resolve potential issues related to bricklaying design, material selection, execution methods, or unforeseen site conditions remotely.
- Conduct virtual training sessions and workshops for on-site personnel on best practices, advanced techniques, safety protocols, and new material applications.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, civil engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with overall objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, material usage, quality adherence, and any variances for management review and client updates.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a professional bricklayer with a strong portfolio.

- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and analyzing architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional knowledge of various bricklaying techniques, mortar types, structural considerations, and local building codes.
- Strong analytical acumen and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effective remote team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Competence in using project management software, virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Asana), and digital communication platforms.
