Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous remote monitoring of CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security devices across multiple client sites.
- Proactively identify and analyze suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential threats in real-time.
- Respond swiftly to all alarm activations and security incidents, following established protocols for verification and escalation.
- Coordinate effectively with on-site security personnel, armed response teams, and emergency services during critical incidents.
- Manage remote access control systems, granting or revoking access as per authorization policies.
- Generate accurate and detailed incident reports, daily logs, and shift summaries.
- Perform virtual security patrols and checks, ensuring the integrity of remote security infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced security software and communication platforms to maintain situational awareness and command control.
- Provide technical support and guidance on security system functionality to clients and on-site teams when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data protection and privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a security control room, surveillance, or remote monitoring role.
- Proficiency in operating advanced CCTV, alarm monitoring, and security management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for threat detection.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during emergency situations.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude.
- Valid PSIRA Grade A, B, or C certification (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) is mandatory.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, secure home office environment.
- Self-disciplined and highly organized to manage remote responsibilities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
- Prior experience with specific security management systems (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, C-Cure).
