Key Responsibilities
- Operate various textile machinery (e.g., looms, spinning frames, knitting machines, finishing equipment) according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance, identify, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and adjust settings as required to maintain optimal output.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- Inspect products for quality defects, reporting any non-conformances to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record production data, machine status, and any maintenance performed accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Machine Operator, preferably within the textile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex machinery operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying product defects or machine irregularities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, production orders, and quality specifications.
