Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solicitor to join our thriving Commercial Property team in Manchester. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented legal professional with a passion for property law to advance their career within a top-tier firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, property development, and portfolio management for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large corporate entities and institutional investors. You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting and negotiating complex legal documents, conducting due diligence, and ensuring seamless transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters from inception to completion.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including leases, agreements for lease, sale contracts, and development agreements.
- Provide clear, practical, and commercially astute legal advice to clients on all aspects of commercial property law.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and title investigations, identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Liaise effectively with clients, other solicitors, lenders, and relevant third parties.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking, seminars, and client entertainment, to promote the firm and expand client relationships.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members and paralegals where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal professional standards and internal firm policies.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and thought leadership within the Commercial Property team.
Required Skills
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a valid SRA practising certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in Commercial Property law.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and standard office software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specific areas such as property development, real estate finance, or complex portfolio management.
- A track record of contributing to business development initiatives.
- Additional legal qualifications or accreditations relevant to property law.
