Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Data Scientist to join our advanced analytics team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems, such as fraud detection, customer churn prediction, credit scoring, and personalized banking offers.
- Perform extensive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions and product development.
- Work with large, complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and readiness for analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into analytical problems, and present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor model performance and key business metrics.
- Research and evaluate new data sources, machine learning techniques, and data science tools to enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science practices, methodologies, and infrastructure.
- Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge across the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Strong experience with SQL for querying and managing large databases.
- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, tree-based models) and their practical application.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
