As a Fisheries Biologist at RAB, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to understand, protect, and enhance Rwanda’s freshwater fisheries. Your work will involve comprehensive fieldwork, including surveys of fish populations, water quality assessments, and habitat evaluations across various lakes and rivers. You will collaborate closely with local fishers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote best practices, provide technical training, and ensure the successful adoption of conservation initiatives. Your expertise will also contribute to research projects focused on improving fish farming techniques, disease prevention, and genetic improvement of farmed species.
