Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive specialist medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex conditions within your area of expertise.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments, developing individualized treatment plans based on best medical practices.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform specialized procedures as required by the patient’s condition and your specialty.
- Collaborate effectively with other medical specialists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and multidisciplinary patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical documentation standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest medical advancements.
- Offer expert advice and support to junior medical staff, contributing to their professional growth and development.
- Adhere strictly to all medical ethics, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements set by the UAE health authorities.
Required Skills
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Valid Specialist Qualification/Board Certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., CCT, American Board, Arab Board, Facharzt, FRCP, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience in a reputable hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
