Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our dynamic and expanding team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, from the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions to proactive preventive care and essential health education. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care, including accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and ongoing management of various illnesses, injuries, and health conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, accurately interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Offer proactive preventive care services, including routine vaccinations, health screenings, and personalized lifestyle counseling to promote wellness.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists as needed and meticulously coordinate their ongoing care to ensure continuity and best possible health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) in strict compliance with all local and international regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families effectively on health conditions, various treatment options, medication management, and crucial disease prevention strategies.
- Actively participate in continuous medical education (CME) and engage in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest medical advancements.
Required Skills
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or immediate eligibility for licensing as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of common medical conditions across all age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a high degree of empathy and cultural sensitivity for patients.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Strong ethical conduct and an unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality and professional integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MRCGP, CCT in Family Medicine) or an equivalent specialization.
- Experience working within a private healthcare setting in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluency in Arabic or other additional languages, which is highly advantageous in our diverse patient community.
- Proficiency with various electronic health record (EHR) systems.
