Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Manager to join our corporate communications team in Kuwait. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our corporate public relations strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, and enhancing our brand reputation across various markets. The Public Relations Manager will act as a key liaison with media, stakeholders, and internal teams, playing a critical role in proactive storytelling, crisis communication, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in media relations within a large, multinational organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns aligned with corporate objectives and brand guidelines.
- Manage media relations, serving as a primary point of contact for local, regional, and international media inquiries, and cultivating strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media kits, corporate statements, speeches, articles, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and report on key performance indicators.
- Lead crisis communication efforts, developing strategies and messaging to manage sensitive issues and protect the company's reputation.
- Organize and manage corporate events, press conferences, and media briefings.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, internal communications, and senior leadership to ensure integrated messaging and brand consistency.
- Identify and secure opportunities for positive media exposure, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in public relations, with a significant portion in a corporate or agency setting, preferably within retail, F&B, or hospitality sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR strategies and campaigns.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong media relations network and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Experience in crisis management and reputation protection.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with international brands and diverse cultural audiences.
- Solid understanding of the digital PR landscape, including social media and influencer engagement.
