Job Description
Monolith Construction and Development Corporation is seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our growing team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be an integral part of our project sites, contributing to the efficient and safe execution of various construction tasks. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the trade, work outdoors, and build a foundational career in the construction industry. You will work under the direct supervision of site foremen and skilled tradespeople, performing a variety of physical duties crucial to the completion of our high-quality projects. Your daily activities will range from preparing sites, assisting with material handling, operating basic hand tools, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area. Key Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) as directed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in setting up and tearing down temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
- Transport materials and equipment using wheelbarrows, dollies, and other non-motorized equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure site safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site foreman or project manager.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and safely.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
