Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Help with the cutting, bending, and joining of pipes and fittings using various techniques (e.g., soldering, welding, threading), under direct supervision.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Perform general clean-up of work sites after project completion, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Learn to identify and diagnose basic plumbing issues, leaks, and malfunctions under the guidance of experienced plumbers.
- Diligent adherence to all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, performing basic maintenance as required.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients as instructed.
- Actively attend and participate in training sessions to continuously learn new skills, techniques, and best practices.
