Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance AI/ML models and solutions using modern machine learning frameworks and programming languages.
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate research prototypes into production-ready code, ensuring model stability, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Implement MLOps practices, including automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and model monitoring in production environments.
- Optimize existing AI/ML models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data quality assurance to ensure optimal model training and inference.
- Research and evaluate new AI/ML technologies, algorithms, and tools to continuously improve our technical capabilities and offerings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to integrate AI solutions into larger systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures for AI/ML systems.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with core ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), and statistical modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and managing AI/ML workloads.
- Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD pipelines).
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English; professional working proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
